Stomach Rumbles

Chapter 2

In the kitchen Sb begins looking for ingredients, he stops (pauzz) trying to look educated and places his hand on his chin (even though he’s the only one around, buffoon) to think and says to his self

 “Hmmm now what do I need for pancakes, umm I don’t know so I’ll pull out the basics I think and let Nic help handle it from here”,

He walks over to the refrigerator and pulls and out some common ingredients butter, eggs, flower, and milk. Sb walks to the cabinets and in the cabinet at the left pulls out some mixing bowls and puts them on the counter then in the cabinet on the right he reaches for a mixing cup and puts it on the counter, finally he reaches down at the bottom for the skillet to cook them in. Just as he reaches up Nicki stands over him in one of his big t-shirts and her sweats with pink fuzzy house slippers smiling at him. Nicki says

“Hey I see you’re getting started without me”

“No I wouldn’t…just getting ready” Sb said. Nicki smiles and he smiles back. Sb looks at everything he took out and says

“Ummm Faree you forgot the most important part”

“What’s that” Sb says, she looks at him like really and you can almost see a light pop off in his head

Sb says “Oh yea how could I forget”

 “You remember now Faree” Nicki says as she see’s his face light up.

“Oh hell yea how could I forget” Sb says

They both look at each other and say

    “Strawberry Chocolate Chip Pancakes”

And they both start laughing. Nicki walks to the refridgator and sits pulls out (pauz) the strawberries and chocolate chips  and sits them on the counter next to the rest of the necessary things and takes a seat at the table staring at Sb. Thinking to herself (with the cutest confused thinking face) …I bet Sb forgets the bacon and eggs too watch… and she lets out a little laugh. Sb turns and catches Nicki laughing walks over and says,

“ Nic what you laughing at huh?” Nicki still giggling now at his facial expression says, “Faree I’m laughing at you, cuz you’re so cute, but guess what you forgot now silly.”  “What?” Sb asked. “The bacon and eggs boy” Nicki says.

They look at each other and laugh once more before walking into the kitchen to prepare breakfast. They begin to mix the ingredients together and flip the pancakes and Sb accidentally gets some on his shirt and Nicki laughs. 

Sb says, “Oh you think that’s funny”

Nicki says, “Why yes I do”

And giggles some more then the next thing she knows there is some mix on her nose and Sb is laughing so hard (Pauz). She folds her arms and says

“Sb this is not funny”

 and gives him an evil glare which makes him laugh harder. He then kisses her cheek and says

“Sorry Nic I’ll wipe it off ok”

And licks her nose. Nicki jumps and punches him in the arms and says “Eewwwww buffoon! Wipe if off not lick it off”

 And when she jumped she accidently got some on the edge of her mouth. She says, “Great look what you made me do Faree now wipe it off this time”

Sb says “ok I’ll wipe it off” and he grabs her arms pulls her close and he licks the corner of her lips and just as he pulls away his arms slips and his lips fall onto her lips and they begin to kiss. He releases her arms and grabs her waist and she puts her arms around his neck and they continue to kiss covered in pancake mix, their eyes both closed. In complete bliss they don’t realize they are even kissing until Sb backs Nicki up onto the counter and she realizes she’s kissing him. She opens her eyes and pushes him off of her and says

“Safaree what are we doing?”   Sb says, “Nic I’m sorry I guess we just got carried away” and they both agree to forget it happened and get back to making breakfast. Once breakfast is finished they sit at the table and begin to eat and discuss their plans for the day.

“Nic we have to go to the studio, then the gym, then over to see Wayne” Sb says.

“I know. We have this meeting at 3p.m. first and then we also have to get a couple of other things done too” Nicki says.

“Like what?” Sb says,

“Well I have to sign some papers and meet a couple friends later to do some shopping” Nicki said smiling.

 “Okay then let’s go ahead and get ready and I’ll be back to check on you in about an hour so we can leave Nic”

 Sb says as he leaves the table to the kitchen to put his plate in the sink.  

“Okay” Nicki says running to her room to get in the shower and pick out today’s attire.
