Chapter 14

      Fiddling with her room key nervous about what will come out and how she’s going to say it Nicki straightens herself up and opens the door. Walking in looking around the sweet Sb is nowhere in sight so she decides to call him.

    “Ring Ring Ring” the phone rings.

     “Hey Nic” Sb says.

    “Hey Safaree where are you?” she asks.

  “I’m on my way up to the room” he says.

  “Ok I’m here I’ll see you in a few “she says and hangs up the phone.

    Pacing back and forth she tries to calm herself. As the door opens she races to the couch trying not to looks suspicious. Looking at Safaree she pats the spot on the couch next to her signaling him to come join her. Acknowledging her gesture he sits next to her with food in his hand.

  “Oh now I see where you were” she says giggling. “You know they could have brought that up” she says.

   “Yea I know but I felt like a walk” he says.

   “Safaree” she says grabbing his hand.

   “Yea” he says looking at her.

Staring into his deep brown eyes almost getting lost in them she clears her throat

  “Faree listen we need to talk” she says.

 “What about Nic”

  “Well today when we went shopping I couldn’t keep my eyes off you two” she says.

  “Awww were cute huh” he says.

  “Umm…” she says. “Yea but..” she says as he cuts her off

  “Nic she makes me happy I really like her” he says.

Nicki’s head dropped and she released his hand.

    “So what do you wanna talk about?” he asks.

      “Oh it’s nothing” she says.

    “Ok then I’m going to meet Rihanna for dinner” he says standing up getting ready to leave.

Grabbing his wrist pulling him back down

    “Listen I do have something to tell you” she began.   

       “Today when you and Rihanna were together I admit I was a little jealous. I know that back in the day we decided not to move our relationship any further then what we are now but we have grown so much and our lives have changed. I know that you have feelings for Rihanna but… I…”  

        “Yea so what you sayin?” Sb says.

     She scoots closer to him and grabs his face between both of her hands and kisses his lips passionately. He wraps his arms around her waist and deepens the kiss. Wrapping her arms around his neck she leans in tilting her head parting her lips for his tongue to enter.

     He pulls away and says “Wait what does this mean?”

  “I think that I’m now ready to take that step with you Safaree, I love you and I wanna be with you” she says pecking his lips.  

     “Ring Ring Ring” Sb’s phone rings.

    “Hey” she says.

   “Hey What’s up” Sb says.

   “Nothin just layin in the bed after Nicki dropped by and put it on a sista” Rihanna says.

  “She what!?” Sb says furiously turning to Nicki.

Rihanna giggled “well we go do something tonight?” she asks.

Looking at Nicki with sad sorry eyes he tells Rihanna

   “Hey I actually I have plans so I’ll catch u later” he says hanging up the phone.

Trying to not to look to excited Nicki covers her smile with a pillow.

  “So you and Rihanna huh? Even though you knew how much I was feelin her!” he says.

   “Faree I just had to be sure. Plus I needed to know what you saw in her, I always forget but I remembered” she says.

   “How could you” he said with a hurt expression.

  “I’m sorry Faree I’m really sorry but I love you and I need you to forgive me” she says.

     She gets up spreading her legs and sitting on top of him, straddling him, wraps her arms around his neck, and his arms around her waist, as she stairs deep into his eyes. She loves what meaning they always show. As she’s on top of him he can’t help but stare back at her noticing her ocean deep dimples, brown eyes, and perfect curved lips he loved so much.

    For that moment there was nothing but silence as they sat wrapped in each others arms. With so much wonder in her eyes, Sb couldn’t believe he was finally after all these years about to get his shot with his princess Onika.

     “Well what should we do first?” She asks.

     “Dinner” he says.

    She leans in closer to his face and whispers in his ear “I would love to” and kisses his neck. It always gave him chills whenever any part of her body touched him, especially her lips. Wrapping his arms tighter around her loving the feel of her body pressed against his he kisses her neck and grabs cups her ass with the palms of this hands. She bites her lips and look up at him

     “Baby I think I have to get off you first before we can eat” she says giggling.

  “Oh yes” he says being lost in her beauty.
